Changing the character map in a PDF
Recently I was reading an article regarding plagiarism. It mentioned that students can bypass websites such as Turnitin by changing the character map of a pdf so that the extracted text doesn’t resemble the text that appears on the screen. Does anyone know how this is done or is there a guide? I have been googling but I haven’t come across any article that address this topic. Thank you in advance.
